SAMCAR Affiliate Membership

If you are engaged in activities related to the real estate profession and are not qualified for REALTOR® membership, we welcome your participation as an Affiliate member. Please fill out the application above and fax to SAMCAR. For questions regarding fees, please call SAMCAR at (650) 696-8200 and ask to speak with the Membership Department.

Affiliate Member Benefits

Affiliate Members are a very important part of the SAMCAR community. They have a representative serving on the SAMCAR Board of Directors and receive the same products and services as REALTOR® members, including member discounts on select store items and education classes. Only SAMCAR members are eligible to attend SAMCAR events and Marketing Meetings

The Affiliate Directory is published twice per year and distributed online to all SAMCAR Affiliate and REALTOR® Members along with a limited distribution of printed editions.

Advertising Opportunities

One of the benefits to SAMCAR Affiliate Membership is the enhanced ability to reach out to the REALTOR® community through well placed advertising in the weekly tour sheet and in our monthly newsletter, the {RE}source. For more information on tour sheet and newsletter advertising, please view the rate graphics below.

Tour Sheet Advertising
The SAMCAR Tour Sheet is a list of all properties on broker tour in San Mateo county, published every Tuesday by SAMCAR and available to REALTOR® members who are MLS subscribers. The Tour Sheet is available in print and online as a PDF to our nearly 3,000 REALTOR® members and provides great exposure for your business via the first two pages of advertising spots that reach our members every week.

• Printed in black & white
• On-line version in color

Deadline
Deliverables must be received on or before the previous Thursday by 5 p.m.

Tour Sheet Advertising Rate/Spec Sheet (PDF)

{RE}source Newsletter Advertising
The SAMCAR {RE}source newsletter is published once per month and distributed to all our REALTOR® and Affiliate members by email and in print at our monthly combined meetings. Issues are archived online after publication and continuously available for viewing. Both the online versions and the printed edition are in full color.

Newsletter Advertising Specifications
• Camera-ready electronic file required; .ai, .jpg, .eps, OR .pdf accepted
• Standard business card size ad spots only (maximum dimensions: 3.7” wide x 2.25” tall)
• Printed edition and On-line versions both in full color

Rates
• $150 per month (1 month = 1 issue); OR
• $75 per month with a concurrently running Tour Sheet ad (see above).

Deadline
Deliverables must be received on the Monday prior to publication by 10 a.m. Reminders will be sent to those with reservations.
Reservations are taken month-to-month on a first come, first served basis.

Please Note:
• Only four (4) Standard business card size ads are offered each month (maximum dimensions: 3.7” wide x 2.25” tall)
