A Master Teacher shows Realtors how Feng Shui can help their business

Wednesday, January 17, 2007

Feng Shui principles have been used successfully for thousands of years by the elite, rich and powerful. SAMCAR Realtors and affiliates, too, can use these same principles to enhance their life and business, according to Master Teacher Ho Lynn Tu of Yuan Yuan Educational Foundation in San Mateo. Teacher Ho talked about the concept of Feng Shui and how it relates to real estate and success and happiness in life at this week’s North Tour meeting.

Donald Trump uses it and many major corporations embrace it. But what, exactly, is Feng Shui? Feng Shui is an ancient oriental term that means "the way of wind and water."  It's all about “Ch’i,” - the flow of good energy, and how it enhances or detracts from your life, according to Teacher Ho.

Teacher Ho said what the ancients discovered is that the placement and layout of physical objects in your environment affects the flow of energy in your life. Feng Shui teaches us how to create harmony and balance around us. A growing number of architects and decorators are integrating Feng Shui ideas with contemporary building design. Teacher Ho, a teacher, a Feng Shui consultant and spiritual practitioner, is often contacted by homeowners and Realtors about how Feng Shui can improve their home, environment and business. Practicing certain Feng Shui principles will do all these, Teacher Ho guaranteed.

Everything is related to everything, according to Teacher Ho. If we pay attention to our environment, then we will find ways of creating harmony in our lives. Many architectural styles and the way a house, office, as well as furniture is designed and positioned, can affect your Ch’i and the balance, harmony, and success of your life and your business. When we move the bed, we also change our relationship with things around us.

Teacher Ho gave Realtors pointers from the perspective of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhism, noting invisible elements and visible elements, and the interior and exterior factors that can affect balance and harmony - from the floor plan, the shape of a lot and the shape of the house and exterior factors like a telephone line post, a road or tree, to the position of the bed and an individual’s office desk. A person’s Ch’i is affected by outside forces from the whole universe down to the country, society, your neighborhood, yard, house, bedroom and your bed.

“All these combine to make an impact on us,” said Teacher Ho. “There are visible and invisible factors that require your attention. … Weather affects the state of your Ch’i, but the closer it gets to you, the more profound the impact on you.”

She added, “The role of your Ch’i can affect us 365 timed a year and can hinder our decision-making, judgment call. She advised Realtors and affiliates to consider the concept of Ch’i and “go home and place your bed ad desk in commanding positions, re-arrange the furniture,” in order to give out the positive energy to be successful.
