California Department of Real Estate Commissioner Jeff Davi spoke at SAMCAR’s Broker/Manager meeting at the Elks Lodge last Thursday and reported in light of the slowdown in the housing market, he is starting to see the number of real estate licensees go down. Today, there are 35 to 50 applicants a week, compared with 1,000 a week just a few months ago.

SAMCAR Realtors Raise Over $7,600 for Coastside Hope

Coastside Realtors and affiliates with the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (SAMCAR) will make the holiday season brighter for homeless, low income and working poor individuals and families. They successfully raised a total of $7,646 for Coastside Hope at their annual holiday breakfast and auction held Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Harbor House in Half Moon Bay.

2007 Nicky Award Goes to Michael Verdone
