-- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- San Mateo, CA - The San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Tedesco RCE, CAE, to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Tedesco has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® since February, 2002. “Philip Tedesco is an outstanding and recognized chief executive officer with cutting edge skills and talents in the real estate industry and extended community. He Tedesco has been involved in membership and services marketing for non-profit organizations for over 17 years. Prior to coming to California in 2002, Tedesco was the vice president of marketing at the REALTOR® Association of Greater Miami. Tedesco has earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degree from Colorado State University in marketing and communications, and completed the Duke University Certificate in Nonprofit Management. “I am very pleased with the decision of the Search Committee, and I am truly looking forward to working with the leadership and staff,” said Tedesco. “I am anxious to get started in my new role as SAMCAR’s Chief Executive Officer.” Tedesco will begin as SAMCAR’s Chief Executive Officer on November 12, 2007. The San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (SAMCAR) is a professional trade organization representing over 3,800 REALTORS® and Affiliate members engaged in the real estate business on the Peninsula.
