It is the duty and responsibility of every REALTOR® member of this Association to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Grievance Committee

The Grievance Committee is a review committee comprised of SAMCAR REALTOR® members. It is the role of the Grievance Committee to determine whether the complaint filed is a matter which should be referred to a Professional Standards Hearing Panel or be dismissed from further consideration because it does not meet the hearing criteria. It does not conduct hearings or determine if a violation has occurred. If you are interested in joining the Grievance Committee, please download and fax your completed Committee Application to SAMCAR at (650) 342-7509.
Professional Standards Committee
Professional Standards Committee is comprised of trained, former Grievance Committee members. (Volunteers must first serve a three (3) year term on the Grievance Committee before joining.) It is the role of the Professional Standards Committee to serve as panelists at disciplinary and arbitration hearings.
