To be eligible as a Director, a person must:
(a) be a REALTOR® member of the A.O.R.;
(b) be in good standing with the A.O.R., including without limitation, payment of all financial obligations in full; and
(c) have had no disciplinary action taken against him or her within the last three (3) years for violations of the Code of Ethics or other duties of membership as provided in Article VI, Section 2(b) of these Bylaws.
(d) must have completed one (1) year on a SAMCAR committee within the last three (3) years, or served in a leadership position with SAMCAR or C.A.R. and/or N.A.R. on behalf of SAMCAR within the last five (5) years, or comparable service at another A.O.R.
Attend all Board of Director meetings.
Attend meetings for which you have been appointed as Liaison.
Attend as many SAMCAR functions as possible (Special Events, Installation, Member Appreciation, and weekly tour meetings).
Attend the Strategic Planning meeting each year.
Attend the Quarterly Membership Meetings
Be on time to all assigned meetings and stay for the duration.
Adhere to SAMCAR Bylaws and Policies and Procedures.
If selected to serve as a C.A.R. Director:
Attend all three C.A.R. Director's meetings which may require four or more days of out of town travel for each meeting. The meetings are in Winter (January/February), Spring (May) and Fall (September/October).
Attend all assigned meetings and Director's sessions at C.A.R.
Report to the membership after C.A.R. meetings at assigned tour meetings.
