Classroom Rentals

Rent the SAMCAR classroom or boardroom for your next meeting! Both the classroom and board room at the SAMCAR office are available to rent for full or half day meetings and classes during business hours. Read below for rate information and instructions on how to initiate a room rental.

How to reserve the SAMCAR Classroom or Boardroom:

1. Contact SAMCAR Staff to find out when the room is available.
2. Make your reservation and submit your completed Room Rental Agreement form to make sure your reservation is entered onto the calendar.
3. Arrive 30 minutes or one business day prior to your rental to test the compatibility of your presentation(s) with SAMCAR A/V Equipment
4. ...and arrive on time on the day of your rental to greet your guests and enjoy hosting your meeting at SAMCAR!

Availability

• Rentals are only available during SAMCAR business hours

• The classroom is not available on Tuesday mornings

• Full day – more than 4 hours

• Half day – 4 hours or less

A/V & Presentation Capabilities

• Classroom Projection screen with Full color LED projector

• Boardroom Flat Screen Television monitor, wall mounted

• Microphone – handheld / gooseneck at podium (classroom)

•  Flip Chart / Dry Erase Boards

• WiFi

Presenter Requirements

Presenters must bring presentations on a device with HDMI or VGA port and/or on a USB drive in a compatible file format, and are encouraged to arrive prior to the rental time to test equipment compatibility.

A La Carte Services

• $10 coffee service per 10-cup carafe, available on request

• $50 cleaning fee only if room is not left clean after the rental

Parking & Transit

SAMCAR has limited parking in our private surface lot, but there is plenty of available street parking on our adjacent streets—Peninsula Avenue, Woodside Way, Studio Circle and State Street. We are also located conveniently just a few blocks from the SamTrans 292 stop at Peninsula Avenue and Delaware Street in San Mateo, as well as just half a mile from the Burlingame CalTrain Station located on California Avenue in Burlingame. We highly encourage attendees to your program at SAMCAR to carpool or use a rideshare service or public transit, as parking in our lot is not guaranteed.
