The Tour Sheet is a list of residential real properties for sale in San Mateo County, California presented for preview on Broker Tour, published weekly as a digital PDF document available only to REALTOR® members who are subscribers to the Multiple Listing Service, MLSListings, Inc. The San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (hereafter "SAMCAR") offers advertising space in the Tour Sheet only to current SAMCAR members who are advertising their member business. Advertising space is reserved on a first come, first served basis, with limited consideration for other factors detailed under "Priority Placement". SAMCAR makes no representations or promises with regard to engagement or conversion metrics as a result of advertising in the Tour Sheet.
Reservation of advertising space shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of affirmative declaration accepting the reservation by the advertising party or its designee (hereafter "Advertiser") in writing via electronic mail (email). Such reservation establishes an agreement between SAMCAR and the Advertiser, wherein SAMCAR holds advertising space for the exclusive use of the Advertiser for a specified time period in exchange for a fee described in the advertising rate schedule available online at https://www.samcar.org/tour/tour-sheet-advertising/ or otherwise modified as described in the terms of Annual Sponsorship available online at https://www.samcar.org/events/sponsorship/ and/or in written communication with the Advertiser, if applicable.
An advertising reservation is only an agreement to provide advertising space for the Advertiser and publish advertising assets, as submitted, during a period lasting not more than one (1) calendar year and not less than one (1) week. While Advertisers may be given an option to reserve advertising space on a subsequent calendar year, SAMCAR makes no guarantee that the same advertising space will be available.
Reserved advertising space will be billed according to the rate schedule. As applicable, the Advertiser agrees to pay all invoices for the advertisement space within thirty (30) days of receipt. Failure to pay for advertisement space within, or prior to, this period shall result in forfeiture of the advertising space by the Advertiser. Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or by check(s) payable to SAMCAR.
SAMCAR and/or the Advertiser may cancel any ad reservations for any reason at any time. Advertising space that has already been paid for but does not run due to cancellation by either SAMCAR or the Advertiser may be offered a refund as is applicable and at the discretion of SAMCAR. No refunds will be issued for any advertisement that has already been published in accordance with these policies.
Whereas advertising space is limited and occasionally subject to high demand, opportunity for priority placement may be given with consideration to factors such as Annual Sponsorship, recurring advertisement, and/or Advertisers who have devoted significant volunteer time to SAMCAR, subject to availability, at the discretion of SAMCAR. SAMCAR makes absolutely no promise, expressed or implied, of priority placement, held advertising space, or recurring reservation to any party, whatsoever. Advertisers who engage, directly or indirectly, in conduct that attempts to coerce, intimidate, or otherwise improperly influence SAMCAR, its staff or representatives, to provide priority advertising placement may have their advertisement terminated.
It is the responsibility of the Advertiser to create and verify the accuracy of ads and submit final ads via email before publication deadlines. Ads must be received by the Friday prior to publication by 10:00 AM Pacific Time. SAMCAR will make every reasonable effort to publish ads in the next available publication, which may be more than one week following receipt. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the content in their advertisement, including but not limited to any claims made, proper licensing of artwork assets, correct spelling, and compliance with any relevant industry standards. SAMCAR specifically prohibits advertising content that seeks to recruit agents to the advertising firm, makes political endorsements, or may violate other association policies.
SAMCAR, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to decline any submitted advertisement or to discontinue publication of any advertisement previously accepted. By submitting ads for consideration, all advertisers agree to the policies and rates, as amended from time to time.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE POLICIES BY ADVERTISER WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF ADVERTISING SPACE.
