When informed of a current, active member's passing, SAMCAR accepts the solemn role of notifying association members through the publication of an "In Memoriam" announcement.
In Memoria announcements are only published after SAMCAR is informed of a current, active member's passing by the broker, family, and/or publication of an official obituary.
These announcements remain published on the SAMCAR website through the end of the current calendar year and may include a hyperlink to an obituary or information about memorial services, if provided.
To notify SAMCAR of a member's passing, please contact samcar@samcar.org with the member's name, date of passing, and obituary, if available.
