On Thursday, June 11, 2026 the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation returned to Bel Mateo Bowl for its eighth annual Bowl-O-Rama fundraiser event assembling scores of SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for an lively evening of bowling, prizes, and community, raising $6,300 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

The 2026 President of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (SAMCAR), Linda Crose-Andersen, and Board of Directors were ceremonially sworn into their term by Installation Officer, 2026 California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) President Tamara Suminski, at SAMCAR's 2026 Installation on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay. Also honored were SAMCAR's Past Presidents, Outgoing Directors and Committee Chairs, and award winners for 2025 REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, Community Service, and Homeowner Hero Awards.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025 the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation gathered dozens of local real estate professionals at Topgolf in Burlingame for TEE UP FOR CHARITY, a fundraiser event raising more than $5,400 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025 the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation returned to Bel Mateo Bowl for its seventh annual Bowl-O-Rama fundraiser event bringing together scores of SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for an exuberant evening of bowling, prizes, and general merriment, raising more than $8,000 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

The 2025 President of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (SAMCAR), Frank Vella, and Board of Directors were officially sworn into their term by Installation Officer, San Mateo County Supervisor Ray Mueller, at SAMCAR's 2025 Installation ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay. Also honored were SAMCAR's Past Presidents, Outgoing Directors and Committee Chairs, and award winners for 2024 REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, Community Service, Rising Star, Homeowner Hero and Lifetime Achievement Awards.

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation hosted a Casino Night fundraiser event at Par 3 at Poplar Creek in San Mateo, bringing together SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for food and drink, games, prizes, and a live auction, raising over $4,000 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024 the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation returned to Bel Mateo Bowl for its popular Bowl-o-Rama fundraiser event bringing together around two hundred SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for an energetic evening of bowling, prizes and fun, raising more than $7,500 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

The 2024 President of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® (SAMCAR), Moisés Pelayo, and the Board of Directors were officially sworn into their term by Installation Officer and Past President, Jesse Gutierrez, at SAMCAR's 2024 Installation ceremony on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Domenico Winery in San Carlos. Also honored were SAMCAR's Past Presidents, Outgoing Directors and Committee Chairs, and award winners for 2023 REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, Community Service, and Homeowner Hero Awards, as well as a special posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award to Michael Monozon.

On Wednesday October 18, 2023, the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation hosted Cheers for Charity, a fundraiser event at Devil's Canyon Brewing Company in San Carlos, bringing together around 100 SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for food and drink, live music from the AS IS BAND, a trivia contest and generally fun evening that raised $9,200 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

On Thursday, August 4, SAMCAR members and friends gathered at San Mateo Central Park for the annual Member Appreciation Picnic. Guests enjoyed boxed lunches from Esposto's Catering and a hosted bar, as well as games like giant Jenga and cornhole, and an opportunity to meet and connect in person outside on a sunny day in San Mateo. SAMCAR partnered with the Food Recovery Network to fight food waste and work to end hunger by donating excess food from this event. Surplus boxed lunches and individual bags of potato chips were donated to the LifeMoves First Step For Families, which provides interim shelter and services to 39 families experiencing homelessness in San Mateo. On Thursday, June 16, 2022, for the first time in nearly two years, the San Mateo County REALTORS® Foundation hosted "Cheers for Charity"—an in-person fundraiser event at Dominic's at Oyster Point in South San Francisco—bringing together SAMCAR members, staff, and friends for dinner, drinks, raffle prizes and live music from the As Is Band, raising more than $5,900 to benefit housing-related charities in San Mateo County.

2022 SAMCAR President Jessica Eva and the Board of Directors were officially sworn into their term by special guest Installation Officer and National Association of REALTORS® Past President, Vince Malta, at SAMCAR's 2022 Installation ceremony on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Grand Bay Hotel in Redwood City. Also honored were SAMCAR's Past Presidents, Outgoing Directors and Committee Chairs, and award winners for 2021 REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, and Community Service Awards.

On Thursday, August 5, SAMCAR members and friends gathered safely outdoors at San Mateo Central Park for the Association's first in-person event in over a year and a half—the SAMCAR Member Appreciation Picnic. No ice breakers were necessary as colleagues jubilantly conversed face-to-face after primarily seeing each other only on screens for such a long time. Guests enjoyed boxed lunches from Esposto's Catering and a hosted bar, as well as games like giant Jenga and a cornhole competition, and raffle drawing for donors to the #SAMCARGivesBack charitable fundraising campaign (for which the event helped raise an additional $1,095). In the spirit of giving back, extra boxed lunches didn't go to waste but were instead donated to the LifeMoves Maple Street Shelter in Redwood City. 2020 SAMCAR President Elmer G. Martinez and the Board of Directors were officially sworn in to their term by special guest Installation Officer, Supervisor David J. Canepa, at SAMCAR's 2020 Installation dinner and ceremony on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Pullman Hotel in Redwood City. Also honored were SAMCAR's Past Presidents, Outgoing Directors and Committee Chairs, and award winners for 2019 REALTOR® of the Year, 2019 Affiliate of the Year, and Homeowner Hero Awards.

On Thursday, October 17, SAMCAR members gathered at Devils Canyon Brewing in San Carlos for the final 2019 quarterly Speaker Series for presentations on hot topics including ADUs, first time homebuyer programs, fire insurance, title insurance and cannabis, and rent control followed by conversations with each presenter.

On Thursday, July 18, SAMCAR's second quarterly membership meeting was held at Long Branch Farms in Half Moon Bay featuring real estate industry update presentations from 2020 NAR President, Vince Malta, and California DRE Auditor Cecilia Yan, along with welcoming remarks from Long Branch Farms owner, and SAMCAR Affiliate member, Kevin Palmer, an update from refreshments sponsor MLSListings, Inc., and closing remarks from candidate for 2021 C.A.R. On Wednesday, April 17, SAMCAR initiated our new quarterly "Speaker Series" with a legal update from C.A.R. Associate Counsel, Jana Gardner, covering details of the recent California "Real Estate Clean Up Law" package, landlord/tenant law changes, new forms and reminders about a REALTOR® member benefit: C.A.R.'s legal hotline.
