Best of Tour
The SAMCAR Best of Tour award draws attention to the outstanding homes for sale in San Mateo County. While touring new listings on Tuesday morning, SAMCAR REALTORS® are invited to nominate homes for recognition as Best of Tour.
How to Win Best of Tour
To be considered for Best of Tour, please submit a sign-in sheet from your property tour to samcar@samcar.org with BEST OF TOUR in the subject line before 4:30 PM (PT) on Tuesday.

[Please note: in order to be considered for Best of Tour, the sign-in sheet must be received before 4:30 PM (PT) in a readable file format including PDF, JPEG or PNG only.]
Volunteer Opportunities
Each week, SAMCAR staff receive sign-in sheets from prospective winners, and need volunteer assistance to delivering and pick-up yard signs, and announce Best of Tour winners on the following week's Marketing Meeting.

Best of Tour Guidelines:

The listings must be a First Time Tour

The agent or a representative of the agent must be on the property during the Tour

There must be a flyer for the listing located at the property during the Tour

Agents that view the property will vote for the Best of Tour by signing a Best of Tour sign-in sheet at the listing

Each agent can only vote for one property in each city for each Tuesday Tour

The "Best of Tour" sign will be allowed to be placed on the awarded property until the Monday following the Tuesday Tour, after which point the sign must be returned to the volunteer coordinator or the SAMCAR office

The agent or representative of the agent is responsible for picking up and returning the "Best of Tour" yard sign (a fee will be assessed for lost signs).
History of "Best of Tour"
The SAMCAR South Tour Committee originally established the Best of Tour award to draw attention to the outstanding homes in the Redwood City, Redwood Shores, Belmont, San Carlos area. Due to the popularity of this disctinction, eligibility for the Best of Tour recognition was later expanded to first time property tour listings throughout San Mateo County. Best of Tour is a volunteer-led initiative.
