SAMCAR REALTOR® and Affiliate Wellness RAW Group
SAMCAR is proud to announce the launch of our Realtor and Affiliate Wellness (RAW) Group, a program of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS®.
RAW is a recovery-inspired support network designed to provide a safe, confidential space for members to share their experience, strength, and hope.
Inspired by successful initiatives at local associations including Orange County and Bay East, and endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), this group offers a fellowship for those navigating professional stress, addiction, depression, or personal struggles.
The inaugural meeting was be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 2 PM at the SAMCAR office. These closed meetings are open exclusively to SAMCAR members and align with our Strategic Plan to foster meaningful peer-to-peer support and encouragement (3.2.1).
This group is intended as a general support fellowship. While recovery-inspired, it is not specific to any one struggle, ensuring all members feel welcome to address the challenges affecting their lives and careers.
Participants will be expected to uphold strict confidentiality.
The inaugural meeting was moderated by 2026 SAMCAR President, Linda Crose-Andersen.
