Senator Hill Visits SAMCAR at July Combined Tour

SAMCAR members gave a warm welcome to State Senator Jerry Hill at the Combined Tour Meeting on Tuesday, July 5. Senator Hill presented Certificates of Appreciation to outgoing and incoming SAMCAR Directors, with a special acknowledgment plaque to Phil Houston for his service as C.A.R. Region 25 Chair. Hill Appointed to the CA Coastal Conservancy
State Senator Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo) has been appointed a member of the California Coastal Conservancy. The California Coastal Conservancy, established in 1976, is a state agency that guides the purchase, protection, restoration, enhancement of coastal resources, and access to the shore.
