Apply for C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life Status in 2027
If you are 75 years of age, have been a REALTOR® member of an Association for at least 25 years, and are currently a SAMCAR member, you qualify for C.A.R.'s Honorary Member-for-Life status, waiving your C.A.R. and SAMCAR dues beginning next year for the duration of your membership.
(Brokers and office managers, please bring this notice to the attention of any of your agents who may qualify.)
Here is how you may be eligible for Honorary Member-for-Life status with SAMCAR and C.A.R.

You are 75 years of age, or will turn 75 in 2026.

You have been a continuous REALTOR® member of an Association for 25 years.

You are a current SAMCAR member.
If you meet these requirements and send in your application by the deadline of Friday, September 11, 2026 your SAMCAR and C.A.R. dues will be waived beginning in 2027 for the duration of your career.
How to Apply for C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life
If you are eligible, please contact SAMCAR to apply. Please note that all applications MUST be processed through SAMCAR and should not be sent directly to C.A.R. Applications received after the deadline cannot be processed for the 2027 dues cycle and you will have to wait until the following year. No exceptions allowed if you miss the deadline.
