2026 Honorary Members Recognized at Annual Meeting

On Thursday, March 19 SAMCAR President Linda Crose-Andersen presided over the 2026 Annual Meeting of the association, providing an overview of association achievements and direction based on the SAMCAR Strategic Plan, including announcing the formation of a local Realtor and Affiliate Wellness RAW Group. Association Executive Alane Gilbrech recognized recipients of the C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life status, acknowledging their achievement of this prestigious membership distinction. Honorary member Pete Aiello led the Pledge of Allegiance to open the program and honorary member Susan Lindstrom delivered a keynote address. Also at the Annual Meeting, SAMCAR Government Affairs Director Fernando Peña shared an advocacy update about the recent council vote in Half Moon Bay to repeal the City's rent stabilization and rental registry policies. C.A.R. Field Representative Andrew Hughan emphasized the importance of mobilization and advocacy efforts locally and statewide. And Mark Messimer provided an update of MLSListings Inc. product and feature updates.
