NAR will soon begin offering members Web addresses with a new .realtor top-level domain. Just last week, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which manages the Internet's domain name system, signed a contract with NAR to launch the .REALTOR® top-level domain.
NAR said it secured the new .REALTOR® domain to provide a trusted source for real estate information online and to bring order to this increasingly complicated online world. Like the term REALTOR®, only REALTORS® can use .REALTOR® domains, making it the clearest way to show consumers you are a member of NAR and adhere to a high standard of professional ethics, and are a source they can trust.
NAR will provide the first 500,000 members who register with a FREE .REALTOR® domain for one year. Members will also have the option of purchasing additional .REALTOR® domains at that time.
