2019 Emeritus & Honorary Members Recognized at Combined Tour
On Tuesday, February 5 at the first 2019 SAMCAR Combined Tour Meeting, SAMCAR President Jesse D. Gutierrez presented the recipients of the C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life and NAR REALTOR® Emeritus status with certificates acknowledging their achievement of these prestigious membership distinctions. Representing the group of honorees, Honorary Member Ralph Ely addressed the audience about the changes in the real estate industry that many of the members receiving Honorary and Emeritus status have experienced in their careers, and the honor of being recognized with these special REALTOR® member statuses.

C.A.R. Honorary Members-for-Life
In order to obtain C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life status, a member must have been a C.A.R. member for 25 continuous years and meet specific age requirements. (Click here to learn more).
Members who have achieved C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life status in 2019 are:
NAR REALTOR® Emeritus
To gain the N.A.R. REALTOR® Emeritus status a member must have been an N.A.R. member for 40 continuous years and must have served on a committee or board at the local or national level.
