Starting June 4, 2026 SAMCAR will be providing our Supra keyholders with next-level eKEY app service as an upgrade included with your annual key service. Your key will automatically update to the new service level—Supra eKEY Professional. No additional action is required of you. Just start using the new Supra eKEY Pro App. Keyholders will also be able to control who and when can gain property access, such as plumbers, contractors, etc. with Single Access. SAMCAR Supra® EKEYS and iBox BT LE lockboxes may access and work automatically in the area known as the KIM Users Group (Bay East, Bridge, Contra Costa County, Delta, Monterey County, San Benito County, San Francisco, Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, Silicon Valley, Tuolumne) as well as associations that are members of CRMLS provided they are using Supra® (see chart), and may obtain cooperating key service with BAREIS and MetroList (additional action and fees may apply). Effective June 27, 2022, SAMCAR Supra eKEYS and BTLE lockboxes may access and work in a greatly expanded area. SAMCAR and associations in the KIM Users Group (Bay East, Bridge, Contra Costa County, Delta, Monterey County, San Benito County, San Francisco, Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, Silicon Valley) have established automatic cooperative reciprocal key and lockbox access, at no additional fee or cost, with the forty associations that are members of CRMLS. For a complete list of all 40 CRMLS associations check out: https://go.crmls.org/associations/ (Metrolist and BAREIS are not part of this automatic reciprocal key access and agents seeking to access Metrolist or BAREIS lockboxes will still need to pay for cooperating key access with those MLSs).

In April the MLSListings Board of Directors voted to amend the MLS rules section for the type of lockboxes allowable in the MLS service area: Effective immediately, the Supra BT LE is the required type, if any lockbox is used to provide showing access for agents. Supra has implemented a security update for keyboxes in order to maintain the highest quality standards. Supra eKEY users should be sure to update the eKEY app to the most current version available in the Android and Apple app stores.

Supra is excited to share the another new video to help support eKEY users! This month Supra features a how-to video for the Apple Watch.

With the Supra EKEY, your smart phone is the key. The EKEY app uses Bluetooth signal to open lockboxes so it works even in areas with poor or no cell signal. You just need to update your EKEY by opening the app using wifi or cell signal before going out to view listings. Learn how to set-up the Supra EKey on your iPhone or Android phone.

Android recently released operating system 8.0 for phones and tablets. Supra has completed testing of the new OS with the eKEY app and is happy to announce there are no issues.

Supra is making a small change to the sending address for showing notifications. The showing notifications will now come fromSupraShowings@utc.com. You can updated your showing notifications settings in SupraWEB. Supra also reports that testing is complete and there are no issues with the latest Apple iOS and the eKEY app.

If you need to call Supra's call center for assistance with your Supra key, you will be asked to provide your eKEY serial number. Read more for instructions on how to locate your eKEY serial number.

At this time, devices that run on Google Project Fi are not compatible with the Supra eKey app. We will notify you if this changes in the future.

SUPRA wants to make you aware of an issue that may affect some eKEY users.

Supra® EKEY users may obtain cooperating key service in several surrounding counties without being a member of the cooperating MLS or Association.

Do NOT use the gray boxes. There will be a $50 fine beginning February 21, 2012 for every gray box found in use on a listing.
