If the office is located in Brisbane, the business license fee will be based on gross receipts from sales within Brisbane as follows:

If gross receipts are: Over But Not More Than = Business License Tax Shall Be:
$0 to $50,000 = $50
$50,000 to $75,000 = $75
$75,000 to $100,000 = $100
$100,000 to $150,000 = $125
$150,000 to $250,000 = $150
$250,000 to $350,000 = $175
$350,000 to $450,000 = $200
$450,000 to $550,000 = $225
$550,000 to $700,000 = $250
$700,000 to $1,000,000 = $300
$1,000,000 to $1,500,000 = $350
$1,500,000 to $2,000,000 = $400
$2,000,000 to $3,000,000 = $500 plus 20¢ per $1,000 or fraction thereof over $2,000,000 and up to $9,000,000
$3,000,000 to $4,000,000 = $700 plus 15¢ per $1,000 or fraction thereof over $3,000,000 and up to $4,000,000
$4,000,000 to $5,000,000 = $850 plus 10¢ per $1,000 or fraction thereof over $4,000,000 and up to $5,000,000
$5,000,000 to $10,000,000 = $1,050 plus 5¢ per $1,000 or fraction thereof over $5,000,000 and up to $10,000,000
$10,000,000 and over = $1,300 plus 4¢ per $1,000 or fraction thereof over $10,000,000
If the agent/broker has no fixed place of business within the City, however conducts the business of selling or offering for sale any real property owned by another, then the agent/broker has the option to pay either a:
1) a flat $75 fee semi-annually, or
2) a fee based on gross receipts from sales within Brisbane according to the above chart.
