Brian Martinez (Collection System Manager) and Joshua Cosgrove (Assistant Collection System Superintendent) for the City of Pacifica have announced the city is undertaking a major sewer main replacement project. The project, which will run through mid-June, is scheduled to impact the following: ALL of Dell Road, Montezuma Drive, Flores Drive, Hermosa Avenue, Navarre Drive, Noriega Way and Standish Court as well as the 1200, 1300 and 1400 blocks of Desolo Drive and the 1200, 1300 and 1400 blocks of Peralta Road. More importantly, as a courtesy to property owners, the city has asked the contractors to bid on the cost to replace private sewer laterals (the pipe that connects the house to the city's main sewer) as part of the city's project. And while (as we know all too well) these pipes are owned and maintained by the private property owners, by packaging the private sewer work into the main replacement project, the cost will be significantly lower than the average private lateral replacement. Attached is the information letter and support documents that were sent to each property owner.
SAMCAR is hosting the project letter and supporting documentation as courtesy announcement for the City of Pacifica. For questions about this project, please contact the City of Pacifica.
